Quant Desk

One Expert Advisor holding every strategy this platform measured and found profitable. Attach it to a single chart; it reads the symbols and timeframes its strategies need and trades each on its own bar close. Every trade carries its strategy's own magic number, so Live trades shows which strategy is winning and which is bleeding — per strategy, in real money.

What it trades, and what it does not

Only strategies this platform measured itself. The vault holds 4,033 strategies; 729 of them have ever been run by our own backtest. The rest carry figures supplied by whoever exported them, and a vendor's claim about its own strategy is not evidence. None of them are in here.

Selected on a held-back period, not on the whole sample. A strategy picked on its full history was picked partly on noise it was fitted to. The desk arms only the ones that were also profitable on the part they were not fitted to — which is a much smaller set than the merely-profitable one, and a better one on every measure.

It runs the same reduction the backtest ran. Our measurement reads a strategy's entry signals, its entry type and its stop and target, approximates its session and its directional bias, and ignores its stand-aside filters entirely. So does the EA — deliberately. An EA trading a fuller version of the strategy would produce live results that test something the backtest never ran, and the reason to run a measured fleet rather than a black box is to find out whether the measurement held.

It is concentrated, and the caps are not optional. Most of the proven strategies trade gold. They do not fire at the same instant, but they read one instrument through overlapping eyes and they will often agree. MaxPerSymbol is what stops the fleet becoming one large position wearing the costume of a portfolio. The default is 2.

Nothing here is a projection. The figures on this page are what these strategies did in a backtest on historical data. They are not a forecast, they are not a promise, and past behaviour of a strategy is not a claim about your account. Trading leveraged products can lose more than you put in.

Checking your licence…

Setting it up

  1. Copy TradeXQuantDesk.ex5 into MQL5/Experts/ and restart MetaTrader.
  2. Allow the licence check. Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → tick Allow WebRequest and add https://trade-x.co. Without it the EA cannot verify its licence and will not trade — it says so on the chart rather than failing quietly.
  3. Attach it to one chart. Any chart: it does not trade the one it is on, it trades what its strategies need.
  4. Paste your licence key into LicenseKey.
  5. Leave AllowTrading off at first. The EA runs, reports and shows you what it would have done. Turn it on when you have watched it.
  6. Set RiskPercent deliberately. It is the risk on each trade, and the desk can hold several at once — MaxOpenTotal × RiskPercent is the most that can be at risk together.
