The fine print, in plain sight.

TEMPLATE NOTICE // This legal copy is a working draft supplied with the site build. Have qualified counsel review, complete and localize it for your jurisdictions before launch.

01 // Terms of Service

1. What Quant X is

Quant X ("the Software") is algorithmic research and validation software operated by TradeX ("we", "us"). It generates, tests and organizes trading strategy candidates for futures markets and delivers research briefings. Quant X is a software tool, not a broker, not an investment adviser, and not a fund. We never hold your money and we never place trades without an explicit action you take.

2. Your account

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and legally permitted to trade or research derivatives. You are responsible for the security of your credentials, for activity under your account, and for compliance with the rules of your broker, exchange data agreements and — if applicable — your proprietary trading firm's policies, including its automation policy.

3. Sign-off and deployment

Strategies exported from Quant X run on your own trading platform and account. Deployment requires your explicit approval per strategy. You remain solely responsible for anything a deployed strategy does, including during platform outages, data interruptions or fast markets. Kill-switch and guard features are aids, not guarantees.

4. Subscriptions

Paid tiers bill in advance on a recurring basis and may be cancelled any time, effective at the end of the current period. Trials convert only with your action. Prices may change with notice; changes never apply retroactively to a paid period.

5. Intellectual property

We own the Software, the engine, and the curated knowledge library (which consists of original derived notes, not copies of third-party works). You own your uploaded research and the strategy exports generated for your account. You may not resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer the Software or the curated library.

6. Acceptable use

No abuse of the service, no attempts to breach other users' data, no use of the Software where it is unlawful, and no representation of Quant X output as guaranteed returns to any third party.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Software is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

02 // Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Account data (name, email, billing status), product telemetry (feature usage, engine run metadata), the research documents you upload, and the configuration of your campaigns and portfolios. We do not require your brokerage credentials; platform connections use each platform's own authorization flow.

2. How we use it

To run the service: breeding runs, briefings, decay watch and support. Your uploaded research is used to build knowledge cards for your vault only — it is never shared with other customers and never added to the curated library.

3. What we never do

We do not sell personal data. We do not share your strategies, your vault or your research with anyone except processors necessary to run the service (hosting, payments, messaging) under contract.

4. Messaging

If you enable Telegram briefings, your Telegram handle and briefing content pass through Telegram's infrastructure under Telegram's own terms. You can disable this channel at any time in Settings.

5. Retention and deletion

You can export your vault and delete your account from Settings. Deletion removes personal data and uploaded research within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax and accounting law.

6. Contact

Privacy requests: [email protected]. If you are in a jurisdiction with statutory data rights (GDPR, APPI, CCPA and similar), those rights apply and we honor them.

03 // Risk Disclaimer

Futures and derivatives trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Leverage means you may lose more than your initial investment. Only risk capital you can afford to lose.

Past performance is not indicative of future results. This applies with extra force to backtested, simulated and hypothetical results, which are prepared with the benefit of hindsight and do not represent actual trading.

Hypothetical performance

Unless expressly labeled otherwise, every figure shown in Quant X — vault scores, returns, drawdowns, win rates, equity curves — is derived from backtesting, forward-testing on historical data, or simulation. Hypothetical performance has inherent limitations: no simulation fully accounts for liquidity, slippage, fast markets, platform outages or the psychological pressure of live risk. No representation is made that any account will achieve results similar to those shown.

Not advice

Quant X is a research and validation tool. Nothing it produces — briefings, scores, passports, portfolio suggestions — is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any contract. The decision to deploy any strategy is yours alone, made through the explicit sign-off mechanism. If you require advice, consult a professional who is licensed in your jurisdiction.

Prop-firm accounts

Funded-account rules vary by firm and change frequently. Quant X's prop-firm guard models common rule structures but cannot guarantee compliance with any specific firm's terms. Check your firm's automation and copy-trading policies before deploying anything.

No guarantees

The machine's job is to kill bad ideas before they cost you money. It cannot guarantee that surviving ideas make money. No profits are guaranteed. Nothing trades without your sign-off.
